Alphacos Ltd is a small yet long established company offering consulting, analysis, application design, programming, support, training and other engineering and IT activities. We have a number of associates with considerable experience and high quality skills in a variety of areas.

Our principal, Nick Coe, has been in Engineering since 1971 in various roles starting as an Electronic Engineering Apprentice. One of the more interesting jobs was installing and piloting a deep diving robot submersible in the early/mid 80’s. Nick designed and wrote his first major support database in Oracle v5 in 1988/89. Since 1993 he has primarily worked with MS Access and VBA in the area of Engineering Support, ILS (primarily LSA) and the LSAR to Def Stan 0060 and MilStd 1388 2A and 2B. As well as designing and creating ad-hoc LSA reports and LSA Data Tools such as FMECA/FMA Databases and DRACAS Systems from scratch for various customers he has also done training, installation, support and development on the LSAR MOD60 and the LSAR Data Collection Tool DCT0060.
We have also created Invoicing Systems, Parts Obsolescence Tracking Systems, Aircraft Parts Batching Systems and Ad Hoc Reports for various customers and modified, trained and supported a number of different applications.
Customers have included various divisions of Marconi (now AMSJV) and Thales AFV plus Easams, Astrium (now EADS), DbL, Aaxico Industries (UK), Mandy Coakley, Dytecna, MDTS, Inteqniq, The Myositis Support Group (UK) and others.
